About me.
Kia ora, I’m Sasha. I’m half-Kiwi and half-Japanese, born and raised in Christchurch, and currently living in Wellington. I’m a recent graduate of the Masters of UX Design programme at Victoria University of Wellington.

What drew me into the UX field was the idea of enhancing someone's life, even just a little bit, through design. Whether it be real-world problems or small day-to-day inconveniences, I strive to be a designer that can create accessible, inclusive, and innovative solutions to various design challenges.

Alongside UX design, I also have a background in information design, Japanese, political science and international relations.

Outside of study and work, I enjoy illustrating, travelling, brushing up on my Japanese through anime and variety shows, playing games on my Nintendo, and hunting down for the best soy latte in town.
